Pharmacological properties:The drug has a pronounced analgesic and antipyretic effect. The analgesic effect is associated with the inhibition of the biosynthesis of endogenous mediators of inflammation (cytokines, bradykinins, prostaglandins, etc.) causing the pain reaction. The drug interferes with the conduction of pain impulses by nerve fibers and increases the threshold of excitation at the level of the thalamus. The mechanism of antipyretic action is mainly due to limiting the release of bacterial endotoxins.
Indications:Pains of various origins (headache, neuralgia, sciatica, myositis), fever, flu, rheumatism, and chorea.
