Pharmacological properties:Progesterone causes the transition of the uterine mucosa from the proliferative phase, which is caused by follicular hormones, to the secretory phase. Progesterone after fertilization ensures its transition to the state necessary for the development of the fertilized egg. The drug reduces the stimulation and contraction of uterine muscles and tubes. It stimulates the development of the final elements of the mammary gland.
Indications:Amenorrhea; anovular uterine bleeding; childlessness; termination of pregnancy; Algomenorrhea.
