UNIDO

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is the specialized agency of the United Nations that promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization and environmental sustainability. According to the vision of UNIDO, the Organization seeks to see the world where economic development is sustainable and economic progress is equitable. The mission of the UNIDO is to promote and accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID) in the Member States through four programmatic fields: 

  • Creating shared prosperity
  • Advancing economic competitiveness
  • Safeguarding the environment
  • Strengthening knowledge and institutions
