Training on Quality Risk Management

A two-day interactive training on Quality Risk Management principles and methodology was held as part of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) program.

Implementation of the quality standard requires a rigorous management system to be in place to ensure full adherence to the international quality scheme of GMP.
This training was devoted to such an important topic of the GMP standard as quality risk analysis and serves to deepen the knowledge and experience gained during the (GMP) trainings.

The training was held for the Georgian biopharmaceutical cluster, which brings together both bacteriophage and herbal pharmaceutical companies and their supporting institutions and aims to help members develop competitiveness, increase sales and gain access to new markets.

The training program was organized under the UN Joint Programme on Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia. The program is funded by the European Union (EU) with a budget of USD 6 million and implemented by four UN agencies – the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
