September 2022 – With the support of the European Union (EU), the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) created an E-marketing and Commerce program to help Georgian pharmaceutical companies with enhancing their digital presence.
The training course was designed for pharmaceutical companies and aimed at developing an e-marketing and commerce strategy, to create the reader's skills in the e-field such as website development, search engine optimization, and e-commerce management.
To achieve this goal, a program was developed that included online training, customized training sessions, and e-marketing guides specifically for bacteriophage and herbal medicine manufacturers.
The training program was organized under the UN Joint Programme on Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia. The program is funded by the European Union (EU) with a budget of USD 6 million and implemented by four UN agencies – the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
